Microsoft Project is a powerful planning tool used to build project plans and to track project progress. Used to manage project costs, schedules and resources it monitors variance from the baseline plan so that remedial action can be instigated to ensure the project outcomes are delivery on time, in budget, to full scope and specified quality.
To be able to produce a project plan supported by a Gantt Chart with tasks, durations and resource assignments and to track and adjust project progress against a base plan.
