Course outline

The OCR Creative iMedia course is a creative new media and digital arts course. It’s designed to introduce the basics of interactive media, from web page production to digital imaging. The Creative iMedia course will provide you with practical, ‘hands on’ creative skills.

Creative iMedia is ideal for candidates who are interested in the following careers

Graphic Design
Website Design

Course structure

iMedia Award at level 1 and level 2 requires the learner to achieve a minimum of 9 credits, imedia Certificate at level 1 a minimum of 20 credits and iMedia Certificate at level 2 24 credits. Certification is awarded on achievement of the required number of credits.

How is the course organised?

Candidates will be able to attend bookable sessions at the ICT Academy.

The ICT Academy operates over the full year and candidates may join the programme at various times during the year.

Pre-Course Requirements

There are no formal requirements for the level 1 Creative iMedia. However basic knowledge of ICT is preferred.
