Tuition Fee Remission

If any of the categories listed below apply to you, you may be eligible for Fee Remission, subject to you providing evidence as appropriate. Please contact Doncaster College's Learner Services section for more information.

Learner in receipt of;
Learner aged 16 to 18 at 31 August prior to the start of their learning programme	Proof of age may be required
Job Seeker's Allowance (contribution and income-based) or an unwaged dependant Income Support or an unwaged dependant	Benefit Statement, letter from Benefits Agency, confirmation of benefit form or bank statement clearly showing payment of the specific benefit (please note that the ES40 ‘signing-on’ document is not valid as evidence)
Working Tax Credit (with annual household income of less than £15,276) or an unwaged dependant Pensions Credit (Guarantee Credit only) or an unwaged dependant	Award Notice from the Tax Office
Housing or Council Tax Benefit or an unwaged dependant	Letter of confirmation from the Local Authority
Employment and Support Allowance (income based only) or an unwaged dependant	Award notice confirming Income Based Allowance (Contribution based allowance is not valid)
An Asylum Seeker	ARC card and PO slip (section 95) or letter from Home Office or from Housing Provider (section 4)
Learner enrolling onto Basic Skills/ESOL learning aim	Specific courses, no learner-based evidence is required
Full Level 2 Entitlement (learner undertaking their first full level 2 qualification)	Learner self-declaration (L2/3 entitlement form) or first full level 2 qualification and enrolling on an appropriate course
Full Level 3 Entitlement aged 19-25 (learner undertaking their first full level 3 qualification)	Learner self-declaration (L2/3 entitlement form) or first full level 3 qualification and enrolling on an appropriate full level 3 course
Category D Offender Learning	Letter fronm the prison confirming that the offender has their permission to attend college on a specified course and will be doing so under the "provision for offenders on day-release from category D prisons"
Offender Serving Sentence in the Community	Letter from Youth Justice Board and Probation Service

Reduced Fee B

If you are included in this list you will not pay tuition fees, although examination, college administration and any materials or residential fees will still be chargeable.
