NCFE level 2
Each ITQ unit has a credit value. You will need to build up 16 credit values to achieve a Level 2 ITQ Certificate in IT User Skills (QCF). The units and their individual credit values are summarised below. This qualification is classed as a ‘full’ Level 2.
This course is suitable for all age groups who wish to access and develop their skills in ICT for education, employment and recreation.
This course allows the learner to improve and expand current IT skills raising levels of competence in using IT. If the learner has recently (within the last 18 months) achieved qualifications in ECDL Extra, CLAiT Plus, City & Guilds 7262 there is the opportunity to map these into the NVQ qualification.
This course should help you to improve your knowledge and skills in a variety of software applications.
The course is offered online with vision2learn – an innovative web-based learning system, which you can access via your internet-connected PC. The online course contains all of the learning content needed to meet the assessment requirements of the course, as well as activities to enable you to practise your skills and test your learning. In addition, you will receive help and support from an online tutor – who is always just a click away.
Learners who have already achieved the iTQ Level 1 or have a basic understanding of IT skills.
Learners that have completed the Level 2 ITQ, can move onto ITQ Level 3 or ECDL Advanced.
