Course outline

E-type is a touch typing course, which guides the learner through a set of comprehensive self paced lessons designed to improve keyboard skills.  The aim of the course is to enable the learner to type using all of their fingers at a speed greater than that of their handwriting whilst maintaining a degree of accuracy of 98% - 100%. 

Developed and accredited by the British Computer Society, e-type will develop keyboard skills that compliment ICT skills developed on courses such as the BCS ECDL and ITQ.

This course is suitable for any computer user wishing to develop their keyboard skills or wishing to demonstrate their competence.

Entry requirements
