BCS Digital Skills is the new lifestyle digital skills programme for students who want to learn the skills needed to get the most from everyday technology as it relates to music, photos, movies and living online.

This course is suitable for candidates new to computers and other digital devices.

The objectives of the course are:

• To raise the general level of competency in digital skills;
• To improve productivity at work;
• To enable employers to invest more efficiently in IT;

The course introduces candidates to the basics of new digital technologies and helps them to learn in a practical and safe way. The learning modules include computer, music, photo, video, safe surf and web share.

Progression

On successful completion learners can progress on to BCS Level 1 Award in IT User Skills (ECDL Essentials) (iTQ), or OCR Creative iMedia Level 1 Award..
