Level 2 Certificate/Diploma for IT Users

Course outline

The OCR Level 2 Certificate/Diploma for IT Users (CLAiT Plus 2006) is a qualification designed to recognise the skills, knowledge and understanding of IT users.

The CLAiT Plus Certificate is awarded on successfully completion of 3 units and can be achieved through the Microsoft Office Specialist programme (MOS).

Integrated e-Document Production (MOS Word) is the mandatory unit with 2 others being chosen from the following:

· Manipulating Spreadsheets and Graphs (Excel)

· Creating and Using a Database (Access)

· Design an e-Presentation (PowerPoint)

· e-Image Manipulation (Photoshop)

· Electronic Communication (Outlook)

The CLAiT Plus Diploma requires successful completion of 5 units.

Who should attend?

This course is suitable for those who already possess good basic IT skills level 1/2 or equivalent
