Level 3 Certificate/Diploma for IT Users

Course outline

The OCR Level 3 Certificate/Diploma for IT Users (CLAiT Advanced 2006) is a qualification designed to recognise the skills, knowledge and understanding of IT users. The qualification recognises complex and specialist skills in the use of IT in vocational contexts over a range of units.

The CLAiT Advanced Certificate is awarded on successfully completion of 3 units. Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Expert units can be utilised as part of the Advanced Certificate.

Integrated e-Document Production (MOS Word) is the mandatory unit with 2 others being chosen from the following:

· Manipulating Spreadsheets and Graphs (Excel)

· Creating and Using a Database (Access)

· Design an e-Presentation (PowerPoint)

· e-Image Manipulation (Photoshop)

· Electronic Communication (Outlook)

The CLAiT Advanced Diploma requires successful completion of 5 units

Who should attend?

This course is suitable for those who already possess level 2 skills/qualifications and its natural progression route is from CLAiT Plus or the MOS programme
