Each unit has a credit value. You will need to build up 13 credit values to achieve a Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration. The units and their individual credit values are summarised below.

This course is suitable for all age groups who wish to access and develop their skills in Business to help with gaining employment or improve their productivity in the work place.
The qualification aims to develop learners’ knowledge and understanding across a range of basic administrative concepts and practices. It enables the young or adult learners to develop essential knowledge of how to carry out every day and more complex administrative tasks such as managing information and supporting events.
This course should help you to improve your knowledge and skills in a variety of software applications.
The course is offered online with vision2learn – an innovative web-based learning system, which you can access via your internet-connected PC. The online course contains all of the learning content needed to meet the assessment requirements of the course, as well as activities to enable you to practise your skills and test your learning. In addition, you will receive help and support from an online tutor – who is always just a click away.
There isn’t any specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification, however learners might find it helpful if they have already achieved a level 1 qualification.
Learners who achieve this qualification could progress into employment in an administrative role or onto:
• Level 2 and 3 NVQ suite in Business Administration
• Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Customer Service
• Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Business & Administration.
