Autodesk Inventor – 7579-01 Level 3

Outline of Program

Our CAD Parametric Modelling Distance Learning Course is tailored to suit candidates seeking to gain experience in the use of Autodesk Inventor. Aimed at those wishing to obtain an advanced City & Guilds CAD qualification without having to attend a formal course of study on a regular full or part-time basis. Each candidate is supplied with the coursework material, telephone hotline support, registration with City & Guilds.

Candidates will need access to an Autodesk Inventor work station and must attend Doncaster College ICT Academy’s Autodesk Authorized Training Centre for one full day when ready to take the final assessments. Certificates are supplied when the candidate has successfully completed all the assessments. Candidates work at their own pace, but must complete within one year of enrolment on the course.

Entry Requirements

A course open to students who have reached a level of competence in using Autodesk Inventor, to at least equal to the requirements of the 4353-22 scheme.

Who Should Attend?

This courseware is designed for advanced Autodesk Inventor users. An advanced level module, ideal for students working full time having experience Autodesk Inventor, to at least equal to the requirements of the 4353-22 scheme.

Aim of Course

On completion of the course, the candidate will be able to:

· Create advanced features and parts modelling

· Create advanced assembly modelling

· Link with external spreadsheets to create complex table driven parts and assemblies

· Apply complex and advanced material types to a model

Course Fee

£tba per candidate - Includes the C&G Examination and Registration Fee, and light refreshments and lunch when the candidate visits the College for his/her final assessments.
